The 29th ICSC Congress was hold on July 27th in Radisson SAS in St. Gallen.

New Members 

Three new national members joined to the ICSC: Moldova, Serbia and India.

Proporsals

The proporsal of Russia, that in all international competitions, the FIDE rules in think time will applied for now, was accepted. From 2011 on, there will be an Open tournament for other deaf chess clubs in ICSC Europa Cup for Deaf Chess Clubs tournaments. All ICSC Championships will be rated from the FIDE for now on. 

 

Future tournaments

The next competition is the Europa Club Team Championships inHamburg, Germany in July 2009.

Lisboa, Portugal and Primorsko, Bulgaria is interested in organizing the World Team Chess Championships 2010. A final decision will be made in October.

The Europa Club Team Championships 2011 is maybe inLiverpool, England or in Beograd, SerbiaTashkent, Uzbekistanis interesing in organizing the Asia Championships 2011.

Kazakhstan wants to candidate for the next World Individual Chess Championships 2012 in Almaty
